 Some of the biggest savings can be made refilling HP toner cartridges and even sell universal cartridge reset chips to register the cartridge as being full. Most HP cartridges need a small hole melted at the top however we are happy to provide full instructions on refilling if you need additional help as we have the official Technical Sheets for most HP machines! HP has finally bowed under European Court Pressure to change their printer warranty statement which now reads "...Non-HP print cartridges include new, re-manufactured and refilled print cartridges from other vendors.  Our high quality Oki toner is one of the most popular in the UK as not only are the cartridge hoppers really easy to refill but it makes colour laser printing really affordable! The most popular is the C3000 and C5000 series lasers as you can bring the cost of a refill right down to £15 each cartridge which is a significant saving to the normal £60 cost of a new cartridge!  Samsung is seen as one of the easiest and cheapest mono lasers to run, as the majority of cartridges can be easily refilled through a cartridge plug however never leave a Samsung laser on "toner save" permanently as this will cause the printout to become greyish in colour and prematurely burn out the drum unit! NOTE: Most economy laser printers don't have a waste toner hopper and waste toner powder is returned to a special section of the toner cartridge so it is important to remember to empty away the powder that is left inside the cartridge BEFORE you refill it with new toner otherwise you will contaminate the new toner with waste toner which will reduce the print quality making it look light grey! |
