| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept all major credit and debit card payments and also PayPal. You don't have to setup or have an existing PayPal account to pay for any purchases. Upon Check Out, just go through the PayPal payment gateway and select the option to pay with your credit or debit card. PayPal will accept all major credit and debit cards. You can be assured that all transactions using our PayPal payment gateway are safe and secure for your own peace of mind. We do not charge for any item until we confirm the order and you may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail or over the internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under or over-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Account facilities are available with a 30 day interest free period for regular/trade customers after successful applications have been processed however we reserve the right to impose a 4% interest penalty charge on any outstanding amount if our 30 day interest free period from date of invoice is exceeded. |
| Shipping And Handling Free shipping is limited to the UK mainland only on orders over £50. We like to keep our shipping costs to an absolute minimum hence we do everything by weight so shipping a single inkjet will cost you far less than a litre bottle of ink! Our standard shipping service is Royal Mail First Class post however if you require things more urgently you can upgrade shipping to Royal Mail Special Delivery for those items which are urgently needed next day and we even offer a free same day delivery if you are close by to our main warehouse in Nottingham. | Delivery Schedule We aim to process and dispatch your order straight away and always if possible within 24 hours (Monday - Friday and sometimes Saturday mornings) using Royal Mail or a private courier on heavier items. Orders taken over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday however you can experience delays over the Christmas Period and Bank Holidays. If an order is received by us by 4.00 pm we will endeavour to dispatch the ordered goods the same day although anything past 4.30pm will be handled the next business day. |

| Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union a rate of 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. We are registered for VAT No. 842 6231 41 and all the prices on our website are therefore inclusive of VAT. There are no hidden charges and being a small family business we hope you find our prices very competitive. We pay your postage costs if your order is over £50 so the price you see is the price you pay! We are so confident of our prices that if you find any of our products available at a cheaper price please let us know as we will do our best to match or even better it! A 2.5% credit card surcharge will be added to accounts paid off using a credit card however no charge will be incurred for debit cards. We encourage our Account Customers to settle their accounts using BACS payments as this incurs no charges. All goods remain the property of Consumable Cafe until paid in full. |
| Credit Card Security Credit card payments are collected using Protx's Bank's secure 128 bit encryption payment collection services (so you can be sure that your details will not fall into the wrong hands) and if you use PayPal they have similar very safe encryption systems. We accept all major credit cards and all transactions are authorised in real time (usually under ten seconds). Here at Consumable Cafe we invest time and effort into ensuring the highest level of transactional security possible on all credit card orders. To support our already high levels of fraud screening we have implemented MasterCard SecureCode. This is very similar in operation to the Chip and Pin process that you find in most high street retailers. You will notice when you use your credit card that you get an additional level of security requiring you to put in a few digits from an already chosen password. | Returns Policy All goods ordered from this site can be returned for a full refund, there may be a charge for carriage only. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm so if you are not happy with your purchase you can return your order to us for a full refund including any cost of returning it to us so make sure you keep a proof of posting from the Post Office. The item(s) must be unused and in the same condition we sent it to you. If we are happy with the condition of the goods then we will issue an immediate refund for the price(s) paid. If the item is faulty or damaged we will issue a Returns Number and arrange for a replacement to be sent out immediately.
