| This new universal Samsung polyester based toner can be used safely with any SCX & SF designated printer however on some printers you may need to change either the cartridge chip or fuse in order for the printer to recognise the cartridge as being full otherwise you will have to click past the "toner empty" error message or the machine will flash a red light temporarily stopping you from printing. We also sell an AIR DUSTER which is used before each refill to clean the inside cartridge and rollers will significantly extend the life of your toner cartridge and improve print quality. A cartridge reset chip is now available for the SCX-4200A cartridge 980229 and a cartridge reset fuse for the SCX-4720 cartridge 980220. Some Samsung toner cartridges like the ML-2510, ML-2570, SCX-4216 require a fuse fitting or replacing to register the cartridge as full (simply locate the fuse holder on the front edge of the cartridge, remove the old fuse if present, and fit a new one!) |
