 Print-Rite Continuous Ink Supply Systems CISS with a revolutionary new design are now available for popular Brother, Canon, Epson and Hewlett Packard printers. They provide a continuous supply of ink from external ink bottles to customised chipped cartridges (always reading full) offering significant cost savings to the high volume ink user. All our CISS are supplied full of ink and are therefore fully primed ready to install and print straight away. The HP bulk ink systems (not officially refillable although can be because you can easily injet ink into the ink sacks!) contain the equivalent to about 3 replacement cartridges while the Epson CISS refillable systems contains approx 100ml of ink per colour which is the equivalent to about 6 cartridges per colour or approx 2500 sheets of A4 which should last the typical customer about 6 months of use before needing more ink!! 150ml (the equivalent to 9 cartridges or 3600 sheets of A4) Bottled Ink Refill Kits (dye-based and pigmented) are also available for both systems at a cost of only £6.99 (inclusive) per colour. |

The difference between dye-based (water-based) and pigmented (oil-based) inks was historically very different although recent advances in ink design and specifications has reduced the differences significantly. Dye-based inks were historically "brighter" and cheaper and would fade naturally if stored in bright sunlight whereas pigmented inks were designed for the professional who wanted prints to last for years without being affected by sunlight. Epson's new UltraChrome Durabrite Pigmented (light-fast) for example is guaranteed to last about 100 years without fading so is ideal for most professional photographers etc however the new range of dye-based inks from Canon incorporating the next generation of FINE(4) (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print head technology with ink droplets as small as 1pl uses a new ChromaLife100 dye-based ink for exceptional print longevity and superior fade resistance delivering exceptionally broad colour gamut producing prints that rival silver halide quality and longevity and resist fading for 100 years when album-stored, 30 years when displayed under glass and 10 years when exposed to the effects of the air so there really isn't that much difference anymore!! Most of our 1 litre bottles are made up to order so please allow up to 3-5 days for delivery or 4-6 weeks if being imported from Print-Rite in China! |

 For some copiers, laser printers and fax machines topping up with toner is as simple as removing the filler plug and pouring it in!
